The SaveNetRadio Coalition
The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. The Copyright Royalty Board in Washington, DC has more than tripled the royalty rates for webcasters and left unchanged they will kill Internet radio. These exorbitant rates go into effect on May 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!). Without Congressional action the majority of webcasters will go bankrupt and silent on this date. We need your help. Please take a moment to send a letter to your member of Congress to keep Net radio from being silenced.

I challenge you, you Alaskan musicians and bands! I challenge you to GET ME YOUR STUFF!
Myspace is horrifying these days. IF you are one of the lucky few to actually be able to download still, all the music is in serious low-fi. I cannot get MySpace music off of MySpace anymore.
Which leaves me with GarageBand, and SoundClick. I’ve had good luck with both of these services, but your stuff just is not there! Most artists and bands went to MySpace, with good reason, except for the podcaster.
I challenge you to send me a CD, a bunch of MP3s, or links to the same. I challenge you to get me your music, so I can play it for the national and worldwide audience that subscribes to and downloads it each week.
